Why Howami?

National Curriculum states that students should be taught “the implications of menstruation for both physical and emotional health”. Not just the biological facts.

The OFSTED Framework Guidance states that “Inspectors will focus on whether pupils have sufficient age-appropriate awareness and understanding of the protected characteristics.” (Para 349) These include “willingness to reflect on their own experiences of sex, gender, and body development.”
